BOEM Offshore Wind Energy Planning
BOEM released Draft Wind Energy Areas (WEAs) for Oregon on August 15, 2023. This map shows the results and several of the layers used in the suitability modeling process that was part of developing the WEAs. BOEM worked closely with NOAA National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS) throughout the modeling process.
